The students of Oak Lodge belong to a group of people who are, potentially, some of the most vulnerable to abuse in all its forms, for a number of reasons. Child protection is an integrated part of the ethos and practices of our school. We are a school where ‘Every Child Matters’. Promoting the social, physical, mental and emotional wellbeing of each student is at the heart of all of our practices. Children and young people have a fundamental right to be protected from harm. Our students have the right to expect us to provide them with a safe and secure environment.
